Secret Hamper and Access All Rooms enter Virgin Media’s VOOM competition
Virgin Media has launched a competition called ‘Voom’, whereby businesses are in for a chance of winning a share of £1 million worth of prizes and consultation at 10 Downing Street. Two of Voice’s clients have decided to take this opportunity and get the votes in!
Access All Rooms, a hotel booking website designed specifically for the disabled has entered the competition. James Price set up Access All Rooms after he was left two-thirds paralysed from a diving accident in 1999. The website lists all the information needed by disabled travellers for them to decide whether the accommodation is suitable for them or not. Secret Hamper, a start-up business founded by Nigel Richardson and Paul Barmby will offer hampers that are made up of necessary day-to-day essentials. They noticed a gap in the market for a hamper that can be sent anonymously to someone in need, whether it’s an elderly neighbour, uni student or a friend in need. Rather than providing luxury items that will sit in the back of a cupboard and collect dust, they offer products that will really be of use for the recipient.
