Red7Marine is Serious About Safety
With the construction industry being both exciting and hazardous, the issue of safety is a serious matter. Red7Marine, is committed to the best safety standards for its business and clients and has held its very own culture day today, Friday 28 April, for all of its staff to attend.
Not only has this been a fascinating insight into the daily risks of working in challenging environments with construction materials and machinery, the workshop itself has provided a unique training experience. Staff have been immersed in scenarios to reinforce the importance of Safer7Minds, Red7Marine’s safety culture.
Delivered by Active Training Team, the day has taken place offsite to ensure staff are fully engaged in the inspirational workshops, which use immersive approaches to actively involve employees with live performance scenarios, film and interactive exercises.
Participants came away with further clarity on their responsibilities to themselves and others within their work environment.
Red7Marine already has its own safety culture developed, named Safer7Minds, representing its core commitment to SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality) and its focus in leading the way in safety in the marine industry.
Managing Director of Red7Marine Nick Offord has explained that site safety is absolutely integral to the culture of the business and needs to be in the minds of employees at all times.
