An exciting new addition to Cornwall’s food and drink scene has just opened its doors on the Chenoweth Business Park, Ruan High Lanes. The Old Garage, founded by Lucy and Julian Chenoweth, held an exclusive launch evening on Thursday 29 August, before officially welcoming its first customers the following day. We were so excited to be involved with the event and what a success it was!
The Old Garage’s launch event saw over 70 guests from across Cornwall in attendance, including some of the region’s top business people, members of the Cornwall Chamber of Commerce, restaurant owners and local bloggers.
Lucy Chenoweth, Co-Founder of The Old Garage comments: “Our launch event was a tremendous success and it was brilliant to receive such positive feedback from the guests. We will continue to work with suppliers and producers to ensure that there is something for everybody on The Old Garage’s impressive, eclectic wine list.
At The Old Garage, we welcome all wine lovers to come and try our products or to simply have a chat about all things wine. Whatever the occasion, we will have a bottle for it. In fact, if there’s something specific our customers enjoy, we’re open to adapting our stock and encourage our customers to let us know!”
Kim Conchie, Chief Executive of the Cornwall Chamber of Commerce comments: “I thoroughly enjoyed attending The Old Garage launch event. It was great to see so many individuals from the local business community coming together to support the opening of a new and exciting business. I wish Lucy and Julian and all the staff at The Old Garage the very best of luck with their future endeavours.”
