January Hits and Highlights

Despite the Christmas blues and wintry weather, we have had an outstanding January with many hits and highlights that we wanted to share with you all.
Perrywood
At the end of 2017, we welcomed Perrywood into the Voice family. Since then, we have been extremely proud of the results that have been achieved. In 2017, we helped Perrywood shout about various campaigns, including ‘Green up your Home’ and its mission to spread Christmas Cheer across Essex. To kick off 2018, we drafted a press release about Perrywood’s great success in being named 4th in the ‘Garden Centre of Excellence’ ranking table and a fundraising frenzy raising £14,000 for numerous charities. Since working with Perrywood, we have already established a great relationship and secured 24 pieces of coverage in January and 48 pieces of coverage overall!
Royal Pigeon Racing Association
On Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st January, The Royal Pigeon Racing Association celebrated its 46th Annual British Homing World Show of the Year. This event is the largest of its kind in Europe gathering Pigeon Fanciers from across the UK at The Winter Gardens in Blackpool. Voice helped to raise awareness of this exciting event by distributing a press release and inviting local journalists along. A journalist from The Blackpool Gazette attended the event alongside two photo-bloggers from Blackpool Live. Overall, 13 pieces of coverage was secured on the story alone.
RSE Building Services
Thursday 1 February marked Time to Talk Day 2018, a day for opening up about mental health. Managing Director of the RSE Group, Russell Stilwell is an ambassador for Mates in Mind, a charity encouraging the construction industry to get talking. During the period leading up to Time to Talk Day we shared Russell’s inspiring story with the media positioning him for interviews to raise awareness of the importance of the day. Russell was interviewed by four different outlets during this period (BBC Essex, Heart Essex, Radio Essex and The Enquirer) and highlighted his commitment to changing the stigma of mental health surrounding the construction industry.
Red7Marine
Another lovely client of ours, Red7Marine, a marine construction and access solutions company based in Wrabness has recently announced its relocation of headquarters to Ipswich. With a growing turnover and workforce, the move seemed natural for the company. In light of this, we reached out to local journalists to see if they would be interested in speaking with CEO at Red7Marine, Nick Offord to find out more about the company’s growth. An interview with Duncan Brodie, Business Editor at the East Anglian Daily Times secured Red7Marine six pieces of coverage.
Red7Marine is also focusing largely on the offshore wind industry in 2018 which came hand-in-hand with the launch of its new barge, the Eurojack 3923. Nick Offord spoke with Offshore Wind Biz to discuss this growth further. To watch the interview, click here: https://vimeo.com/238722437
Circle Research
This month, Circle Research, the B2B market research company, conducted research with 350 leading B2B marketeers to reveal what areas they are dedicated most of their time to. Rather than being based on opinions the results are based on the experience of over 350 industry experts and compare in-house marketers to agency based marketers. Voice approached various Market Research outlets and has secured four exclusive pieces for Managing Director, Andrew Dalglish.
