Voice is delighted to announce that we are currently working with The Clock House café and tearoom at Upton Hall as it is relaunched re-launched by award winning chef, Edward Halls. The Clock House offers a delicious range of homemade food. The Clock House’s team create the majority of the food in-house, including a delectable array of cakes, scones, tarts and other sweet delicacies.
Open from 9am, customers can start the day with a mouth-watering breakfast or brunch, or treat themselves to a full afternoon tea or home cooked lunch in the afternoon. The Clock House prides itself on quality food and service, and combines this with a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere to offer the ideal place to enjoy a meal with friends, family or colleagues.
Edward Halls opened The Clock House to create a fitting venue for his patisserie and fine dining skills. Edward has many years of experience as a chef, cooking in one and two Michelin starred restaurants for Marcus Wareing and Gordon Ramsay, amongst others. In addition, he previously owned a very successful gastropub, The Rose and Crown, in Essex. Edward has also worked as a private chef at Kensington Palace, cooking exquisite meals for Royalty, world ambassadors, business leaders, MPs and other VIPs.
As a result of Edward’s background in fine dining and Michelin starred restaurants, The Clock House will also be offering incredible fine dining experiences on the first Friday and Saturday of every month. The set menu will include six delicious courses crafted using the finest local and seasonal ingredients.
The Clock House has pulled together a fantastic series of cookery demonstrations. Whether you’re a novice or accomplished in the kitchen, the courses allow budding chefs to develop a range of cookery skills and build on their own expertise. After the course is completed, participants will enjoy the fruits of their labour and be given notes and recipes to take home. The Clock House also offers bespoke demonstrations for small groups who want to attempt bread making for the first time, or even those who want to try their hand at filleting a fish!
Edward Halls, Owner of The Clock House, commented: “I’m delighted to launch The Clock House at Upton Hall and to be able to offer people a destination which offers the finest, home made food. From our delicious range of breakfasts, our hearty lunches and delectable afternoon teas, to our fine dining evenings and our cooking demonstrations, all our menus have been crafted using high quality, local produce. I look forward to welcoming people to The Clock House and sharing my love of great food with them.”
