VOICE CREATES INTERACTIVE APP FOR THE SENIOR WOMEN IN POLICING CONFERENCE
Earlier this year, Voice was contacted by the Senior Women in Policing team to create a brand-new app for its 2019 conference. The aim was to create an interactive system that would encourage delegates to get involved with talks and presentations throughout the event.
SWIP19 was a conference hosted by four regional police forces; Staffordshire, Warwickshire, West Midlands and West Mercia. The aim of the association is to create a positive environment for collaboration to flourish, encouraging influencers, policy makers, partners and selected invitees to work together for the greater good. The conference themes were based on change, culture, collaboration and conversation and the team wanted a vibrant app to showcase this.
With a tight timescale, Voice worked with the SWIP team via regular conference calls to run through visuals and content. The app was completed on time and within budget.
With built-in functions such as geo-location push notifications and Slido, the app met its main goal in offering different levels of interaction with delegates. The integration of systems such as Slido, enabled attendees to pose questions during talks, keeping conversations open and flowing.
The client also loved the inclusion of a networking and gallery page. This meant that delegates could share their experiences at the conference and keep the pages fresh with imagery.
We’re really looking forward to continuing to work with SWIP on projects and we are currently building a new website for its partner organisation, BAWP – British Association for Women in Policing.
