Perrywood Garden Centre Needs You to Help Spread Christmas Cheer at Colchester Hospital

T’is the season to be jolly and this year, Perrywood Garden Centre in Tiptree will be helping patients and visitors of Colchester Hospital to spread Christmas cheer and say thanks to the NHS staff who have gone above and beyond their duty of care. These staff members are often working long hours to service the local community over the Christmas period.
With a passion to giving back to the community, Perrywood will be giving patients and visitors the chance to nominate a hardworking Colchester Hospital staff member who has excelled expectations, gone above their duty of care or who has truly made a difference to patients’ lives. Perrywood will recognise 20 people who will all be awarded with a Christmas planter.
Individuals who would like to nominate a staff member can do so by sharing a few details including the name of the chosen individual and their department and why they deserve to win. Entries can be submitted via email to [email protected] or by post to Christmas Cheer, Room FF14, Villa 8, Colchester Hospital, Turner Road, Colchester, CO4 5JL. For those visiting the hospital, voting forms can be found on the notice boards around the hospital. The entries will close on Friday 23 November.
Although Santa will be busy putting the finishing touches to Christmas presents, he has enrolled the help of the Perrywood staff to deliver Christmas planters to the 20 deserving winners at Colchester Hospital on Wednesday 12 December.
Hannah Powell, Communications and Business Development at Perrywood comments: “Following the success of our Christmas Cheer campaign in 2017, we were certain that this was something we wanted to replicate again this Christmas. With the NHS turning 70 this year, we thought it was important that we, as a business, and the community, had the opportunity to thank the NHS staff members who work so hard all year round.”
