2023 is fast approaching and we are reflecting on what an amazing year it has been for all of us here at Voice.

From new team members, expanding our offices and meeting like-minded businesses and individuals, we’ve all achieved so much personally and professionally. We couldn’t let the year pass without sharing some of our highlights.

Nichola, Managing Director

“One of my main highlights of this year was being able to attend Goodfest with some of my team. It was such an amazing experience to share with Maisie and Emily, it was a fully immersive and inspirational experience and it was a special two days to share with so many liked minded individuals.

“I’m also so proud of how our Cornish team at The Feel Good Building has expanded this year, we all love being part of such an awesome community and I look forward to further growth in both offices.

“I am so happy that our Senior Account Director, Jess, welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Amelie in to the world.

“We welcomed Merryn to the PR team and Jude to the Digital Marketing team.”

“Getting to travel to Cornwall for Goodfest was such an incredible experience and was definitely a highlight for me. Surrounding yourself, and learning from so many values-led individuals and businesses was really inspiring and honed in on the opportunity we all have to create a positive difference in this world.

“Another highlight was visiting Blenheim Palace and seeing the work that our client Land & Water is undertaking there. We are lucky to work with so many amazing companies that are making the environment we live in, a better place.

“I’m also really proud of the work we have done to enhance wellbeing at Voice as well as becoming a Mental Health First Aider and being promoted to Senior Account Manager.”

“Growing the digital team with Jude starting as an apprentice is a huge highlight for me. It has been so great to see Jude, and all of the team, develop in their roles and I cannot wait to see their continued growth. We also became a Living Wage Accredited Employer which is something we are incredibly proud of.

“I have loved being given the opportunity to spend more time at the Cornwall office and begin networking again, building relationships with like-minded businesses and individuals in person. Attending Goodfest really stands out to me – we met so many amazing people and learnt so much!”

“This year has been full of highlights. We have expanded our team by hiring Merryn and Jude. Collectively, we’ve been working on B-Corp to improve our score. It’s been really great to see the team come together for this and come up with some amazing ideas on how we can continue to create positive change for Voice, its team, the planet and communities around us.

“We’ve also carried out some fab work for our clients and received really positive feedback and results. We recently worked alongside our client St Francis to launch its new fostering model which will see the charity work with fosterers to look after, and rehabilitate, its rescue dogs until they are ready for rehoming, working together with dedicated experts and behaviourists. The rescue sector has changed drastically over the past couple of years and so it was important that the right message was conveyed. Through our press office function, we secured some fantastic interviews with target media outlets such as BBC Spotlight and Radio Cornwall. It’s been so amazing to work on this and see how happy our clients are with the results.”

“Starting with the Voice team in August is a definite highlight for me. The whole team is super supportive, friendly and talented and I really enjoy being a part of a values led agency – getting to be involved with B-Corp and learning more about it and how we can improve our score has also been something I have loved.  

“Visiting Land & Water’s CEDA event at Blenheim Palace also really stands out to me – it was so great to see their work at the historic grounds.

“Sam and I hosted our first of hopefully many People Planet Pint events in Newquay. This was such a positive event and we got to meet and connect with like-minded businesses in the community. I also attended the first B-Local event in Newquay since Covid-19 and met some amazing people.”

“A highlight for me this year would be being able to attend the 1000x B-Corp event at the Natural History Museum, I am so proud to work for a B-Corp company so it was really great to be able to celebrate this with like-minded companies. I have also loved welcoming Jude and Merryn to the team!”

“2022 was the year I joined Voice and I am so excited to continue to work with the team and get to know the digital world! I have already been lucky enough to visit the Cornwall office and spend time getting to build my relationships with them.

“We also put the Christmas decorations up and really got into the festive spirit which was so much fun!”

This year has been filled with so many achievements that it’s hard to compile them all down in to one blog post but we truly have had a fantastic 2022. We have already got so many amazing things planned for 2023 and we cannot wait to share them all with you!
